Glen Murray Kehler
It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing Glen on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at the age of 87 years. Glen passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife Kathie and daughter Maxine at his side.
His love and memories will remain in the hearts of his wife Kathie; his six children: Pam, Blair, Karen (Mark), Lori (Glen), Stuart (Jodie) and Maxine; his brothers Reuben (Tina), Peter (Judy) and sister Joyce (Cornie); his 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Glen is predeceased by his parents Annie and John Kehler, seven brothers and sisters as well as one great-grandson.
Glen was born in Steinbach, Manitoba on August 21, 1933. Glen's family was always of great importance in his life and was loved by many extended family members as well. His life work was in the construction trade, retiring at age 55 from management at Dominion Construction and went on to invent Slot Drain Systems while starting up his own construction business B & C Consultants.
The family would like to thank the many Home Care workers who worked so hard over the last couple years enabling Dad to stay in his home with family.
In keeping with Glen’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held when conditions will allow this to happen.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire donations in memory of Glen may be made to a charity of your choice.
